Joanne's background is in education and publishing, including nearly 10 years at the Institute of Physics Publishing as a senior production editor on a range of international magazines, and work at the University of the West of England, Wiltshire College & University Centre, and Bath Spa University. Joanne has also worked as creative and marketing manager for a management training company, and has been a charity trustee. Joanne has recently worked as a teacher in a Category C men's prison.
